Abstract

Representation is one of the most important aspects of student understanding. Students' mathematical representation of the geometry of the material in a rectangular flat build is a study that needs to be studied. Because geometry is one of the materials that began to invite students in the Diniyah Madrasah to think abstractly. Factors that influence students' communication skills and representation can be used as study material for designing learning. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This study categorizes subjects into 3 categories based on understanding abilities. Research subjects were 24 students. The results of the study found that there were 3 factors that influenced students' mathematical representation.
