Penggunaan Lembar Kegiatan Siswa (LKS) Berbasis Discovery Learning Pada Materi Mendeskripsikan Perubahan Sifat Benda

This research is motivated by the observation and experience of researchers, that LKS is often used in Primary School today tend to contain only a summary of material and exercise questions. Students learn the material and evaluation based on the LKS they use in the learning activities. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the LKS based on Discovery Learning which not only contains the summary of the material and questions, but also with the lab that will train the students to think scientifically. This research is used to know the impact of the use of LKS based on Discovery Learning on the material changes the nature of the object. The impact of LKS usage is seen from the teacher and student response to the use of LKS based on Discovery Learning, and how the impact of LKS use on students' ability in describing the change of nature of the object. The result of this research is teacher response to the use of LKS based on Discovery Learning which have been applied in learning get good response. Teacher response questionnaire results are more than 50% of teachers' answers included in the criteria strongly agree. Student response to the use of Discovery Learning based LKS obtained positive response from students. This can be known from the percentage of student answers that is from 10 statements have a good criterion that is the percentage ? 50%. In addition, the impact of the use of LKS based on Discovery Learning on the students' ability in describing the change of the nature of the object that has a positive impact. This can be known from the results of pretest and postes assessment. In the pretester results 2 students can earn values under the KKM. While the value of postes of students has increased only 1 student who get the value under the KKM.
